Patricia Muiko,
Programme Manager,
Laikipia, Kenya.
Patricia joined the Zeitz Foundation in 2013 after three years working as a Projects Manager for G.R.A.C.E Africa where she was involved in Community Livelihoods Projects at Laikipia East and Kieni East District, and also giving support to projects in other parts of Central, Eastern and Nyanza Provinces.
Based at Segera, Patricia managed the Laikipia community projects until June 2015 when she assumed more responsibility as the ZF Laikipia Program manager. In October 2016, she was appointed the Programme Manager responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Zeitz Foundation Kenya Programmes.
Patricia is an AWARD 2014 fellow and has post graduate training in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL), Institutional Management and Business Planning (International) from the Plymouth University, UK and is currently completing an MSc in Agricultural and Rural Development.
Beatrice Muchiri,
Finance and Administration Manager
Nairobi, Kenya.
Beatrice Muchiri is the Zeitz Foundation’s Administration Manager. She joined the organization in 2011. Beatrice received her Bachelor's degree from Moi University and has over 12 years’ experience in administrative work.
Emily Ongus,
Project Manager,
Segera, Laikipia
Emily joined the Foundation in 2016 and works with Leveraging Markets for Climate Friendly Sustainable Development Project. After graduating with B.Sc. in Agriculture from Egerton University, she started her career with BAT working in Kinangop and Bungoma before moving to Sirendi Kenya Ltd at Ukunda along the Kenyan coast to work with coconut farmers in extension and organic standardization.
She is currently the project manager for a climate change adaptation and mitigation intervention funded by Nordic Climate Facility; Leveraging Markets for Climate Friendly Sustainable Development Project in Laikipia.
The YPARD 2015 fellow has a keen interest in youths in agriculture research, development and entrepreneurship and has participated in various forums to advocate for these issues as a youth representative.
Joseph Jagero Rabuogi
Project Manager – Laikipia Unity Programme and Coach Laikipia Unity Football Academy
Segera, Laikipia.
Joseph, a qualified football coach, has been engaged in sports and community development in East Africa for more than 15 years. He has worked in Tanzania, Cameroon, Norway and South Korea on sports and development issues while with Mathare Youth Sports Association.
Before joining Zeitz Foundation Joseph was the Coach of a Kenya premier league side – City Stars and director of training at MYSA.
Joseph manages the Laikipia Unity Programme and is the resident coach for the Laikipia Unity Football academy at Endana.
Christopher Maina Mbogo,
Projects Technical Officer
Segera, Laikipia.
Chris works on the technical side of infrastructure for Zeitz Foundation projects. He is currently working on Leveraging Markets for Climate Friendly Sustainable Development Project in Laikipia and offers technical backstopping at the Laikipia Unity Football Academy in Endana.
He has a keen interest in rainwater harvesting and has received an International Technical training course on rainwater harvesting at Gansu Research Institute for Water Conservancy in 2016.
Stanley Maina
Assistant Technical Officer
Segera, Laikipia.
Stanley joined the Foundation in 2015 after a stint at Segera where he was a community wildlife scout and radio operator. He now works as a technical assistant on Leveraging Markets for Climate Friendly Sustainable Development Project in Laikipia.
Pauline Erupe Ekodiat,
Housekeeper
Segera, Laikipia.
Pauline started her engagement with the Foundation through SATUBO Beading Group where she was a founder member. She then worked at Segera retreat before joining the Foundation in February 2015 as a housekeeper.
Samuel Patisa Lekula
Maintenance Assistant
Segera, Laikipia
Samuel provides maintenance support at the Foundation headquarters for all equipment including solar systems, rainwater harvesting facilities besides keeping the working environment clean and pleasant.
